Questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. Every new workspace gets 30 days with everything included and no card. You add payment details only when you choose a plan, on Stripe’s secure page.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you’ve chosen Medium, it starts and your first payment is taken then — never earlier. If you haven’t, the workspace becomes read-only: you can still sign in, view and export everything, and choose a plan to unlock it. If no plan is chosen within 30 days, the workspace is closed and its data is deleted 90 days later.
Who counts toward Medium’s 100?
Active employees in your directory. People you archive don’t count, and you can archive and restore at any time. Teammates with workspace access are included at no extra cost.
What if we grow past 100?
You’ll be asked to move to Corporate before adding more people. Contact us and we’ll agree a price for your size; nothing is lost in the move.
Can I switch or cancel later?
Yes. Switch between monthly and yearly from Billing & plan. Cancelling keeps Medium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
How do I contact support?
Signed in, use Help & support from your account menu. Not signed in, use the contact page. We’ll reply by email; we don’t promise a response time until one is approved.
